WINNING GIANTS

"But David said to the Philistine, 'You come against me with the sword, with the spear, and with the darts; but I will go against you in the name of the LORD Almighty, the God of hosts of Israel, whom you have defied. they will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord grants victory; for the battle is of the Lord, and he will deliver all of you into our hands. "1 Samuel 17: 45-47

David faced the giant Goliath, not paying attention to his size. He just trusted God and won.

Today we face giants of various sizes and types. And how they look big and scary. Often the giant is a serious illness that takes away peace, joy and brings fear and insecurity, as well as suffering. Others, the giant is an unsustainable financial situation, a "dead end" where it seems that there will be no solution, much less victory. The giant can still be a crisis in marriage, broken and destroyed relationships that seem to have no way to fix. How many difficult things we face in the day to day that seem giants in front of our smallness and impotence. What's your giant today?

Whatever, know that just as God did what seemed impossible with David, he can do it to you as well. Face, as David did, your giant, your reality. However, stand up in the name of the Lord Jesus, knowing that He is able to fix any situation and change the course of your story. In Jesus we can face all things. The first thing to do is to believe it. Then stand up and there is a winner!
