Matthew 11: 27,28 - "All things were
delivered unto me of my Father. No man knoweth the Son, but the Father: and no
man knoweth the Father, save the Son, and him whomsoever the Son will reveal
him. that you are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. "
True rest comes from knowing God. King
David reminds us of this in Psalm 23. Jesus makes that clear again. Only Jesus
can reveal God completely to us. Only Jesus can take the burden of trying to
please God without an understanding of grace. He alone can remove the burden of
our sins and enable us to be holy, unblemished, and free from charge before God
Almighty.
Prayer: Dear Father, thank you for sending
Jesus to fulfill the Law and bless me with His grace. May I never abuse this grace.
Dear Father, enable me to serve you with joy and happiness that I have because
of your grace. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
