The grace and
mercy of God are related to our salvation in Jesus Christ.
The Bible says
that we all deserve condemnation for being sinners
"For all
have sinned, and come short of the glory of God"; Romans 3:23
"For the
wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ
our Lord." Romans 6:23, but when we believe in Jesus as our only Savior,
the MERCY of the Lord reaches us and we are free from this judgment.
And if that were
not enough, besides our salvation, we still receive many blessings !! By grace,
we can enjoy communion with God, have an abundant life and help in times of
need.
How can we repay
God for all this? Has no way! We should simply receive by FAITH and thank the
Lord for His wonderful grace and mercy! :)
In the Bible it
is written, "Let us draw near to the throne of grace with all confidence,
that we may receive mercy, and find grace to help us in the time of need"
(Hebrews 4:16).
