"God proves his own love for us by the
fact that Christ died for us." Romans 5: 8
We can hardly imagine greater love than that of
a young man for that woman with whom he decided to marry. But there is a love
with a high degree of intimacy, but with no visible sign and no selfish
motivation. It is a love that you can experience. Not even the most tender and
devoted mother's love can compare to him. You may feel lonely and think that no
one understands you; maybe go through life without knowing what love really is.
Yet there is One who loves you and wants to fill your life with joy and love.
He cares, seeks, and has done much for you: He
has paid your debt, provided you a home, and has a heritage saved for you. Make
you the happy son of a King. He takes care of all your worries, removes all
your troubles and wipes your tears.
You may ask, "Is this true?" Yes,
truly! What a wonderful and joyful fact! This wonderful Person is none other
than the Creator of the whole universe, the almighty and everlasting God, who
has everything at His disposal. You can rejoice in the fact that God loves you.
By a genuine love to you, He sent His only Son
to suffer judgment and death to deal with your sins. this would have to be done
before God could make him his son. And that is why the Lord Jesus came into the
world to die for the guilt of others. He has shed His blood to purify you and
give you His life, that you may receive eternal life. Do not reject Your
wonderful love. "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life"
(John 3:36).
