GOD KNOWS WHAT'S THE BEST FOR YOU

Unemployment brings with it various afflictions and trials and usually also a deep emotional crisis. By no means do we want to minimize all of this, but we wish to encourage it! Encourage him to cast all his anxieties on the Lord Jesus Christ, for it is written,"casting all your anxiety upon him, because he careth for you" (1 Peter 5: 7).Did you notice that this little verse contains an exhortation and a promise? The exhortation is: "casting all your anxiety upon him." Therefore, we should not relinquish anxieties to Him in a hesitant way or even with doubts, but we must literally cast them upon Him! This means: detachment from them in a determined way. And the promise is: "because he cares for you."

God Himself knows what is best for you, for He always has in mind what is best for your life! However, sometimes we have many difficulties in understanding it and in establishing ourselves by faith in this spiritual truth. Because? Because in our human myopia we always think that it is best to "have the sun shining every day". Not at all! It is precisely the profound ways that lead us to the communion of His sufferings and thus to a more intimate communion with the Lord! So, cast your anxieties on Him and trust Him! This does not mean that you should cross your arms ... Casting all our anxieties on Jesus does not mean that we should resign ourselves to our preconceived ideas of what to do or not to do.
Whoever trusts in his Lord in an absolute way and is attentive to His direction, in the end may exclaim with David:"... the Lord hears me when I cry for him" (Psalm 4: 3). For "The way of God is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a shield unto all them that take refuge in him" (2 Samuel 22:31).
