The TOMORROW

Matthew 6:34 - "Do not be anxious, for the day tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. "

One of the strong teachings given by Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount is the unnecessary worry, "Do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself ..." (Matthew 6:34).

Human experience teaches that our stability in the future must be built in the present, while our earning capacity persists. The idea of ​​saving and also plan for the future is not foolish. It only starts to become neurotic, from the moment that we care so much about the future, that the activities of this become impaired.

This is the point of Jesus: the concern is harmful. The "fuss is about tomorrow" does not help our work, our productivity. To reinforce his teaching, the Master offers a guarantee. Why "tomorrow will look after itself"? Simply because He, Christ, is already in the future, just as it is at present. So, just as He is today ensuring our livelihood and our health, when you arrive tomorrow, because He be there, our well-being is guaranteed. Tomorrow will take care of itself, the power of the Lord Jesus Christ.
