"Seek the LORD while he may be found,
call upon him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, the wicked, his
thoughts; let him return unto the LORD, and he will have compassion on him, and
turn to our God: for he is full of forgiveness. "Isaiah 55: 6,7
If you had the most desired car of the
moment; the one that is the most beautiful, powerful, safe and comfortable; but
this car lived empty tank for lack of fuel, what good would have to have such a
dazzling machine? The most that this wonderful car would do was decorate its garage.
Now, transfer this example to the spirit
world. Having recognized and accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, become a
new creature, but living empty tank is wasteful! God did not plan this for you!
God and His Word must be our daily fuel,
otherwise our appearance may be very beautiful on the outside, but over time we
will show that there is no life within us.
Seek the Lord diligently, prioritize His
presence, pay attention to what He says. Create a routine of reading and
meditation on the Word and discipline yourself to follow it. It is very easy to
stop looking for what we have of most importance, when we distract ourselves
with the things of life.
Do not waste what God once did for you and
that you still plan to complete. Do not underestimate the power you can be.
Decide not to be cold or warm; decide to be hot and filled with the presence of
God always!
