"My tears have
been my food day and night, while they continually tell me, 'Your God, where is
it?' Psalms 42: 3
Whoever has spent a
night in the light under the power of tears knows that each one of them has his
question. When sadness and pain reach the heart they do not come alone, they
bring doubt, anguish and many questions.
"Where is your
God who allows you so much suffering?" Have you heard that? I have! On
several occasions. The problem with the questions is that they happen when we
are in the midst of great fights. It is in frailty and dejection that they gain
strength and seek to annihilate trust in God.
A friend taught me
that the important thing is not the questions but the answers. It is necessary,
above all else, to trust in God and wait for time. The most beautiful answer to
be given is that of faith, that of love, and that of trust.
In reality, the man
of God does not have to answer anything, just the patience and waiting for the
response of the Creator. It will come, it always comes. Learning to use silence
in your favor is a key factor in life. Since tears can not defeat the man of
God, we must naturally understand that they are used by the Father to lead us
to something greater.
I will lift up mine
eyes unto the mountains, whence my help cometh.
"My help comes
from the Lord who made heaven and earth.
He will not let your
foot falter; he that keepeth thee shall not slumber. "
Psalm 121: 1-3
