"Therefore, brethren, we have
full confidence to enter the Holy of Holies by the blood of Jesus, by a new and
living way that he opened to us through the veil, that is, of his body"
(Hebrews 10: 19,20).
We have free access to God the Father through
the shed blood of Jesus. God gave us a new chance to draw close to Him through
the Work of the Cross. The sacrificial death of Jesus enables us to enter into
the presence of the Holy of Holies. Hallelujah!
It is a great privilege for us to consider
ourselves children of the Creator of the heavens and the earth, even though we
are so small, weak, unfaithful and sinful. We do not deserve this gift, but
God, by His infinite mercy, gives us this new chance. The highlighted verse
communicates the truth of the new life in Christ. "I came that they might
have life, and that they might have it more abundantly" (John 10:10).
