GOD WANTS TO FULFILL THE PLANS OF HIM IN HIS LIFE

"This was the birth of Jesus Christ: Mary, his mother, was betrothed to Joseph, but before they were united, she was found pregnant by the Holy Spirit. Because Joseph, her husband, a righteous man, and not willing to expose her to public disgrace, intended to annul the marriage secretly. But when he had thought of this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to receive Mary as your bride, for that which is begotten of her is of the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you shall name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins "(Matthew 1: 18-21).
Joseph and Mary had plans for the future like any married couple, but what they did not realize was that God would change their lives forever. Joseph was a religious man, and Mary, even when she was very young, showed a good knowledge of the Scriptures. Everything went perfectly well, until one day the angel Gabriel appeared to that young girl to announce that she would give birth to the Savior of the world. The two were not yet married and Mary became pregnant by the supernatural action of the Holy Spirit, for they had not yet had intercourse.
With that I put myself in Joseph's place. I wonder how he must have been confused and worried to see his pregnant bride without being married. This situation was disturbing, and Joseph decided to break off the engagement without speaking to anyone. But as he thought about these things, God revealed His plans and calmed his heart. An angel appeared to him in a dream and explained about the situation. Joseph accepted God's plan and married Mary immediately. Both obeyed the call that God had for them, and it was precisely for this reason that Jesus was able to come into the world to give us the opportunity of salvation.
Have you ever stopped to think that God's plans to be fulfilled need your obedience? God needs you to heed His call, because only then will you be fully satisfied and others will benefit. So, this Christmas, take time to reflect on your life and the paths you have taken. See if you have done the will of the Father or if you are still wanting to walk alone without His guidance. I hope you make the best choice!
