"And lead us not into temptation, but
deliver us from evil: for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory
for ever. Amen "(Matthew 6:13).
God knows everything. God can do all things.
God is present everywhere. He is omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent.
Meanwhile, Satan is completely different from God. He is not omnipotent, and
however powerful he may be, he is limited. The devil is far from being equal to
God. He is not omniscient, and no matter how many things he knows, he does not
know everything. And it is not omnipresent, that is, it can not be in more than
one place at the same time.
What Satan does not want you to know is that
he can not do anything in the life of a child of God without the permission of
the Lord. So much so that he complained when God put a fence around Job (read
Job 1:10). Thus, in the face of this situation, we see that even if the enemy
intends to do evil, he must ask permission to touch a child of God.
The Lord erected a wall around him that is
impossible to overcome, and Satan, no matter how hard he tries, can not jump
over this wall. This does not mean, however, that you are not tempted,
attacked, or troubled - but even if that happens, the Lord will never allow you
to be overwhelmed. Then, when the enemy knocks, say, "Father, will the
Lord answer the door for me?" Be glad that Jesus is there and will solve
this situation because we do not have the strength to face the devil.
It is certain that the temptation will come,
so much so that Christ Himself taught us to pray: "And lead us not into
temptation, but deliver us from evil." Matthew 6:13. So when you are
tempting Satan, remember that God will never let you have more than you can
bear. And He will show you a way out!
