"Rejoice in hope ..." (Romans
12: 12a)
God has a right time to do everything. He is
the one who knows the right moment to deliver what he has promised us. Time is
part of the process. He is the Perfect God, he does nothing in half. Moreover,
He is faithful. All that he says will be fulfilled, therefore, "God is not
a man, that he may lie; nor son of man, that he should repent; would he say,
and not do it? Or speak, and not confirm it? "(Numbers 23:19)
One of the ways that the enemy tries to steal
our joy is to make us think that the promises of God are taking too long to be
fulfilled. With the difficulties, with the apparent delay, we began to think,
"Has God forgotten me?", "Does not God hear me?", "Can
not God fulfill what He has told me?"
It is these and many other questions that
invade our heart. Doubt, lack of faith and sadness are generating hopelessness,
fear and discouragement. I believe that the Lord has left us this ordinance:
"Rejoice in hope ..." (Romans 12: 12a), for when we rejoice in God,
who is our hope, we are strengthened and encouraged. His joy is our strength
(Nehemiah 8: 10b), hallelujah !!
The devil will try to annoy us in every way
because he knows that stealing our joy will also weaken our faith and destroy
our dreams. Therefore, on this day, I challenge you to rejoice in God. Make an
effort to bring to mind all that can give hope to your heart. Begin to remember
the wonders that the Lord has already wrought in your life. Remember the
countless blessings received, then your heart will be filled with hope again.
God is taking care of everything for you. Can
you believe it ?!
