Faith has many facets. However, the brightest
facet is trust!
We all have the confidence and we decide what
we are going to do with it. We decide on who and what we place our trust. we
have to remember who has delivered us in the past and know who is going to get
us out of trouble in the present. Then we have to place our trust in the right
place, which is God alone.
Trust has some qualities that identify it.
Trust is not sad because it has entered the rest of God. Trust is not confused
because you do not need to lean on your own understanding. Trust is not carried
away by carnal reasoning, it allows God to be God. In whom have you placed your
trust? What have you put your trust in? Is your confidence in your job, boss,
natural talents, or friends?
Maybe you trust yourself, your past
successes, education or assets. All these things are temporal. They are subject
to change. Only the Lord does not change. He alone is the rock that can not be
moved.
Choose to put your trust in God. This
requires greater faith, but it pays high dividends.
