WHO WILL SEPARATE US?

"Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Is it tribulation, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? "Romans 8:35

Is there anything that can separate us from the love of God revealed in the person of our Lord Jesus Christ? According to the Scriptures, there is nothing that can separate us from this love. Nothing and no one can separate us from the love of Christ. No matter if difficult situations, or deep anguish, nothing can separate us from this blessed love. And the Apostle Paul goes on to say that he is certain that neither death nor life, nor angels nor demons, nor the present nor the future, nor any powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in creation, will be able to separate us from love of God who is in Christ Jesus our Lord. This Pauline statement is not exclusive to him, we all, saved by the blood of Jesus we can also be convinced that nothing and no one can separate us from the love of God that is in our Christ.

After all, what could be placed between the sublime love of Christ and us? Are the adversities of our daily lives? Or the afflictions of this life? Who knows hunger or perhaps violence could stand between us and the love of Christ? Never! For our God, through His Word, gives us the assurance that whether we are in high places or deep abysses, nothing and no one can stand between us and the love of our Lord Jesus Christ. Nothing in all creation can ever separate us from this love!

May the Lord Jesus make us feel this wonderful love more and more, today and forever, to Him the glory. Amen!
