"Give thanks to the Lord, for he is
good: his love endures forever." (Psalm 118: 1)
From the depths of his loss and a broken
heart, the Bible tells us that Job worshiped God: "I went forth naked from
my mother's womb, and I went away naked.
The Lord gave it, the Lord took it; Praise
the name of the Lord. "(Job 1:21) If you only worship the Lord when you
feel well, you will not worship very often.
There will always be something: a tragedy, an
illness, or problems with your children.
Whatever it is, you should praise God
regardless of how you feel.
After all, the Bible does not tell us
"Thank God only when you feel good."
Rather, the Bible says, "Give thanks to
the Lord because he is good" (Psalm 118: 1).
God was there for Job and He will be there
for you.
The one who allowed the storm is also the
protection that we find in it.
The one who allowed the storm was in it.
And whatever happens in your life, either
came from God or had His permission.
God did not create Job's suffering, but He
allowed it.
We do not know the reason for this, but we
know good things came from it.
At the end of the book of Job we saw that
what Job lost was restored to a greater extent.
It was not an arranged ending like the ones
we see in Hollywood movies.
Job suffered.
Job buried his children.
Even so, God was with him at all times.
God gave you the strength to go through
everything and He will give us the strength to go through our tragedies.
Praise God that He is worthy of our worship,
regardless of our circumstances.
This is what Job did and that is what we must
do as well.
