EPENTANCE IS THE KEY TO CHANGING LIFE

"Repent ye therefore, and return unto God, that your sins may be forgiven, that the times of rest may come from the Lord" (Acts 3: 19,20).
We must repent of our sins and believe in the sacrifice of Jesus to receive salvation. To repent is to experience a strong sorrow in the heart because of sin, to the point of changing your life. It is abandoning sin and walking in the opposite direction of this world that is in the evil one (John 5: 9)
The Bible says that God is holy and that His holiness condemns every form of sin, so He punished His own Son on the cross so that all of us could receive forgiveness. Only the blood sacrifice of Jesus can forgive us and erase our guilt (1 John 1: 9). In addition, repentance is the only way to experience healing and true joy. There is no other way for us to receive the peace and rest of Christ without a sincere repentance. Are you struggling against a sin or have you not yet received salvation? Practice these three things:
1) Believe that God still loves you. You are still under His grace and mercy and He does not want to condemn you: "For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that he might be saved through him" (John 3:17).
2) Repent and believe that Jesus died and rose again to save you. You will never get favor with Him by your own efforts: "For you are saved by grace through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2: 8.9).
3) Then make the decision to obey the Word of God (Bible). In it you will find all the promises of God and you will learn to have a victorious Christian life: "Therefore, free yourself from all moral impurity and evil that prevails, and humbly accept the word implanted in you, which is powerful to save you Be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves "(James 1: 21,22).
