"But they that wait on
the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like
eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint.
"Isaiah 40:31
We all go through moments of
struggle, which can wear off, and even exhaust our strength. That is why it is
important that we be grounded in Christ, having Him as our strength and
sustenance, asking and allowing Him to guide us in every situation. Present
your cause before the Lord, for He understands our sorrows. As it is written,
"For we have not a high priest that can not have compassion for our
infirmities; but one who was tempted like us in all things but without sin
"(Hebrews 4:15). And just as He obtained the victory, with Christ with us,
who will be against us (Romans 8:31)? "Truly we are more than conquerors,
through him who loved us" (Rom. 8:37). The LORD is my strength, and my
song; he went to me for salvation; this is my God, and I will make him a
dwelling place; he is the God of my father, and I will exalt him. " (Exodus
15: 2).
