NEAR THE POINT OF HEARING THE VOICE OF OUR GOD

 "When you turn to the right and when you turn to the left, your ears will hear a word behind you, saying, 'This is the way, walk for it.' Isaiah 30:21

We are not like robots in the hands of God, for He does not force us into anything. We are privileged to be led by the Holy Spirit to the point where he says to us, "This is the way, walk for it!" This sets us apart from other people in the world, not because we are better than them, but because the Truth has come in our lives!

God knew that we would be greatly influenced by this world: by its way of living, of thinking, of relating, and so on. With wrong influences, since the world lies in the evil one, the chance to decide wrong would be very high.

By loving us and wanting the best for us, God gives us every day conditions to walk in the right direction, inspired by Him. But what have the children of God done with this privilege?

Even those who have been Christians for several years and who have the Holy Spirit living in them make wrong decisions when they do not create a true relationship with God. Consequently, they do not develop a sensitivity to their voice. God did not plan this for us; He wants to guide us all the time!

Of course the final choice will always be ours, but if we stick to the direction He points, we'll be on the best path for us!

Seek to be sensitive to what the Holy Spirit wants to tell you. In it, you will have direction for everything you need, big and small, and your journey will be successful!

Prayer: God, your direction is too precious to me. I want to walk the right path, according to what the Lord points out to me. I do not want to go to the right or to the left if it's just a choice of my flesh. Help me to be more sensitive to your voice every day. In the name of Jesus, amen.
