"WONDERFUL WHAT YOU EXPECT ..."
"Happy is he who waits and reaches
the end of the thousand three hundred and thirty-five days." Daniel 12:12
Abraham was tried for a long time, but was
abundantly rewarded. The Lord proved it through a delay in keeping the promise.
Satan tempted him by temptation, Sarah proved him by his impertinence; the men
proved it by jealousy, distrust and opposition. But he endured everything
patiently. He did not dispute the truth of the promise, did not limit the power
of God, did not doubt his faithfulness, nor hurt his love. Rather, he bowed to
the sovereignty of God, submitting to his infinite wisdom and remained silent,
despite the delays, waiting for the occasion determined by the Lord. And so,
having waited patiently, he obtained the promise. The promises of God can not
fail to be fulfilled. Those who wait patiently will not be disappointed. Isaiah
49: 23b. The expectation of faith will be rewarded. Hey, psiu! Abraham's
conduct condemns a hurried spirit, reproves the murmuring, recommends the
patient spirit, and encourages a quiet submission to the will and the ways of
God. Remember that Abraham was tried, that he waited patiently; received the
promise and was satisfied. Imitate your example, and you will receive the same
blessing. Text: Book "Manacials in the Desert"
Prayer: God, I know that Your time is not
mine. Although sometimes murmere I wonder "When will it be my turn?"
I also know that doubts and uncertainties try to keep me from you, but I know
who I have believed. You are God of miracles, you are the God of the impossible
and ALL of His promises will be fulfilled. Even though I see nothing, the Lord
is painting the rainbow, and therefore I ask you Lord, teach me to rest and to
trust in You. That I believe that every promise passes the test of time. And
I'm being molded, cared for, and mostly prepared. I praise you, O God, for all
the struggles, for I know that victory is certain. I allow God, may the Lord be
God in my life! I allow everything to happen in the time You have for me! I am
special yes, and my time will come! Grant me a full day of the anointing of the
Holy Spirit. Amen.
