PROMISE MADE BY JESUS

"In this world you will have afflictions, but be of good cheer! I have overcome the world." John 16:33

Have you ever stopped to think how much life would be different if we lived in the Garden of Eden described in the Bible? There would be no fighting in families, financial problems, illness, corruption, betrayal, envy, death, etc.

We really can not imagine what a PERFECT life would be like because we live in a world marked by the effects of sin. We wake up and we have to face all sorts of problems, suffering, loss and despair, and with this many put the blame on God. But let's face it: Humanity has caused all this to itself! All that God did was to love us, and even as we went astray, He came up with a plan to save us: the death of Christ on the cross.

This promise made by Jesus to his followers shows us how difficult things are in this world, but it is also a reminder that we should have hope in the Eternal Paradise created for us!

Therefore, whenever you want to give up everything, remember the grace of God released upon you on the cross, believing that Jesus has already conquered all that brings you pain and sorrow!

"You shall know that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God, who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations to those who love him and keep his commandments." Deuteronomy 7: 9
