In Mark 5: 21-23 Jairus begs Jesus, "My
daughter is dying. Please come, heal her so she can live. "
He does not fuss. He does not trade. He just
begs. He asks Jesus to help him. And Jesus, who loves the honest heart, answers
him. But even before they go very far, they are interrupted by emissaries who
tell them, "Your daughter is dead. Do not trouble the Master any longer.
"Mark 5: 35,36
Get ready. Hold the hat. This is where Jesus
takes control. The Bible says, "But Jesus paid no attention to what they
said." I love that phrase!
He ignored what people said. Why do not you do
the same? When falsehoods, accusations, or negativism come, just ignore. Close
your eyes. Go away. Ignore the one who says it's too late to start over.
Do not take into account those who say you will
never get anything.
Jesus told Jairus what He says to you, "Do
not fear - just believe!" Mark 5:36 "Trust in Me," Jesus is
begging. "Just trust me."
