LOVE COPES ALL SINS

"Hatred excites strife, but love covers all sins." Proverbs 10:12

How often do we "get out of ourselves" and respond, in anger, during a discussion? Finally, the feud only increases. It is not easy to always love and bless when we are hit hard by words of outrage from friends, colleagues and family. However, we must have self-control. To overcome the anger that appears as a fire within us, the secret is to look to Christ. He had patience when he endured so much suffering! As in the Sanhedrin, before going to the cross: "Then some spit on his face and beat him. Others gave him tapas "(Matthew 26:67).

But He loved them!

Difficult to understand God's love for us. It is a love that constrains. He himself took the cross as an offering by those who persecuted and cursed him. Jesus suffered even for the soldiers who spat on his face. This great, infinite love that we can not measure or imagine must abound in our hearts. With this love, we should love our neighbor. When persecuted, bless; when hated, to love; when they speak evil, respond with grace ... It is painful, but it is the way, the truth and the life! Let us make like Jesus Christ that "He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; as a lamb was brought to the slaughter, and as a sheep that shut up before her shearers kept silent, he opened not his mouth "(Isaiah 53: 7)
