WHAT DOES IT MEAN: REST TO THE SHADOW OF THE HIGHEST?

 "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall rest in the shadow of the Almighty." Psalms 91: 1

To rest in the shadow of the highest means to give our life to the Lord, to have real faith in God, to believe in the biblical promises that say, "The Lord is faithful to all who believe in him."

"I will say of the Lord, He is my God, my refuge and my fortress, and I will trust in him." Psalm 91: 2

To rest in the shadow of the highest is to live and walk in faith so that we may live a quiet life in the certainty that the Lord will be our help and our strength in the moment of struggles and difficulties.

In the shadow of the highest we have victory over anxiety and fear.

"For he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the pestilence." Psalms 91: 3

In the shadow of the omnipotent we have protection.

In the shadow of the highest we have peace.

In the shadow of the highest we are more than conquerors.

"A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand, but it shall not come unto thee." Psalms 91: 7

In the shadow of the omnipotent we can rest assured that the Lord will NEVER forsake us!

Rest also in the shadow of the highest.
