How many times have you woken up aimlessly and unwilling to face another day? The Bible teaches you how to start every day with strength! Here are 5 verses that will change as you begin your day.
"Moreover, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report, if there be any virtue, and if there is any praise, think on it. " Philippians 4: 8
Start your morning thinking about all the good things around you. Your day will be better!
2. Thank God
"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits." Psalms 103: 2
Remember to say thank you to God for every good thing you remember.
3. Ask God for the day
"In the morning you will hear my voice, O Lord; in the morning I will present my prayer to you, and I will watch. " Psalms 5: 3
If you are worried or discouraged about something, tell God! He will help you.
4. Organize your day
"The thoughts of the diligent tend only to the abundance, but those of all in haste, only to the poverty". Proverbs 21: 5
Spending a few minutes organizing your priorities for the day is an investment.
