THE NAME OF GOD IN YOUR HEART

 "A strong tower is the name of the Lord; and the righteous shall run to it, and shall be in a high place. " Proverbs 18:10

When you are confused about the future, go to Jehovah-Rah, your attentive pastor. When you are anxious about provisions, talk to Jehovah Jiré, the Lord of Providence. Are you being challenged by the powerful? Ask for help from Jehovah-Shalom, the Lord is peace. Is your body sick? Your emotions shaken? Jehovah-rafah, the healing Lord, beholds him now. Do you feel like a soldier cornered behind enemy lines? Take refuge in Jehovah-Nissi, the Lord is my banner.

Meditating on the names of God will remind you of the characteristics of the Lord. Take these names and keep them in your heart.

God is: the Lord who guides, the Lord who provides, the voice that in the storm brings us peace, The doctor who heals the sick, and the flag that guides the soldier.

"I, I am the Lord, and beside me there is no Savior." Isaiah 43:11
