WAIT ON THE LORD AND STRENGTH YOUR HEART

The Bible says, "Therefore, brethren, be patient until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield the precious harvest, and how he waits patiently until the rains of autumn and spring come.

Be patient also, and strengthen your heart, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. " James 5: 7.8

In this passage above, we understand that we should wait for the promises of God as a farmer awaits his harvest! However, I have never seen a farmer, after watering his plantation, worrying day and night whether the crop will come or not. He does not lose sleep thinking if his corn will take root. No, he waits with confidence because he knows that the harvest will come at the right time. He does his part and knows that the seeds he has planted will produce a good harvest.

In the same way, we should wait with confidence for the promises of God! We must stand firm in His Word and not give up. Do not just wait and see what will happen. You must wait with FAITH and obey the Word of God, so that you will see the hand of Him acting in your behalf.

Do not be influenced by those who do not want to trust in God. Instead, have an attitude of faith and say, "Thank God, because I know that the Lord is faithful and will fulfill all His promises in my life, and one day I will be with You forever!"
