SOMETHING IS NEEDED

"Jesus looked at him and loved him and said to him, 'One thing is missing: go, sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow me. " Mark 10:21

Jesus had blessed many children. As he was leaving, a man approached him and asked him an important question: "Good teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? Jesus promptly answered him. After Jesus' answer, the man turned away and walked away sad.

That man thought he was doing everything for God. When he said that he obeyed all the commandments, Jesus made it clear to him that he still lacked one thing. It was there that

Jesus presented him the final test. Go, sell everything, give it to the poor, return and follow me and you will have treasure in heaven.

It sounded like an easy test to someone who had just said he obeyed all the commandments. It was not so easy. In order to pass this entrance exam, this man had to demonstrate in practice the five essential qualities of a true disciple of Jesus.

To sell everything, he had to be OBEDIENT. To sell everything, he had to renounce all his material possessions. To give everything to the poor, I needed to have a lot of LOVE. To go back then he had to KEEP criticism and himself. To follow Jesus, he had to calculate the price of DISCIPLESHIP. To receive the treasure in heaven, he needed to stop investing in material things to INVEST IN HEAVEN.

In front of the vestibular of Jesus, that candidate, was rejected. His decision was to abandon and return to his life. Is that you? What decides? Leave everything? Or complete what is missing in your life. God's Holy Spirit is now revealing to you what is missing in your life. And you need to make a decision. The decision that God wants you to take is to be obedient to the will of the Lord, renounce everything for the Lord, overcome the shortcomings that keep you from being a blessing, assume your position as a disciple of the Lord and begin to invest in the Kingdom of Heaven. Receive the victory now in the name of Jesus. And Glorify God
