TOTAL TRUST

 "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Recognize him in all your ways, and he will direct your paths. " Proverbs 3: 5-6

To trust in the Lord with ALL hearts is not to doubt Him and His Word.

In our relationship with GOD this trust is paramount. We can be sure that He loves us and

He will take care of us faithfully, lead us on the right path and fulfill His promises, even in extremely difficult times.

Our understanding is flawed because it is human, and it is subject to errors. Therefore, our understanding must be enlightened by the Word of God and directed by His Holy Spirit.

This means that, instead of relying on our intelligence and experience, we should pray for the will and wisdom of our GOD to prevail. In our decisions, in our activities, we must acknowledge God as the Lord and seek His will as our ultimate goal.

Today, like yesterday and tomorrow, and every day, this must be our quest: a deep and trusting relationship with the Lord. Are we going to remove all obstacles so we can make the right decisions?

"Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose trust is the Lord." Jeremiah 17: 7
