THEME TO THE LORD AND WALK ON HIS WAYS

"Blessed is he that feareth the LORD, and walketh in his ways.

For you shall eat of the labor of your hands; You will be happy, and you will be well.

Your wife will be like the fruitful vine at the sides of your house; Your children as olive plants around your table.

Behold, thus shall a man be blessed that feareth the Lord.

The Lord will bless you from Zion, and you will see the good of Jerusalem in all the days of your life.

And thou shalt see the sons of thy sons, and peace upon Israel. " Psalms 128: 1-6

What draws attention in these verses is the connection that the psalmist David makes between happiness, work, success and obedience to God. Fearing the Lord and walking in His ways means obeying God. Blessed is to be more than happy. Therefore, obeying God means happiness. And as a consequence of happiness and obedience to the Lord, added to the work, we have the result, and the promise that ALL, EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING, will do us good !!!

Prayer: Lord God, help me to know His ways, and cause me to walk in them, that I will not turn aside to the left or to the right. I want to be always in the center of His will. Bless the Lord, the work of my hands, and thank you for the promise that ALL will be well. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen
