How many of us
have the courage to look up and ask God what we really want him? Did you scream
in a crowd "Son of David have mercy on me!" Or would be embarrassed
because around you there are people who know you, people who do not have the
same faith, who do not believe that He can perform miracles in your life? You
scream or shut up?
Mark tells the
story of a man in the eyes of others aroused shame because he was blind and
lived on alms, but to hear that Christ was at hand, had the courage to call it:
Mark 10: 46-51.
And they came to Jericho. And as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and
a great multitude was sitting by the way a blind Bartimaeus, the son of
Timaeus.
And when he
heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, saying: Jesus, Son of
David, have mercy on me!
And many charged
him to be quiet; but he cried out the more: Son of David, have mercy on me.
He stood still,
Jesus and said, Call him. And they called the blind man, saying to him: Be of
good cheer; arise, he calls you.
And he, casting
away his garment, sprang up, and came to Jesus.
He asked the
blind man: What do you do? He replied the blind: Master, I see.
When is before
Christ, what would you answer? (You are not God, can not you see I'm blind?
!!), Or would like Bartimaeus?
Sometimes Christ
waits after calling him have the courage and humility to say what is obvious,
but we need to confess to Him.
So today call
for Him and have the courage to say: -Mr want to see!
-Mr Want to
break free from addictions! - Lord I'm unemployed, I want a new job placement!
Do not let
friends, society, those around you, be stronger and silenced her scream!
Call for Him
today: Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me! Mark 10:47
