LIGHT OF THE WORLD

"You are the light of the world can not hide a city set on a hill. Neither do men light a lamp and put it under a bushel, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house so shine your light . before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven "Matthew 5: 14-16

For our light shine before men, we first need to let God's light shine on the dark places of our hearts, bringing out all hidden sin, and all dirt that lurks in the darkness. It is often painful to see truths about us, but when God brings to light what needs to be transformed, is so that He can cleanse us and make free from all that binds us and away from Him.

When we do not let God shine His light in our hearts is like escondêssemos our light under the bed. But when we allow Him to pour light into our darkness, as the psalmist prays, then yes our light shine before men, and what people will see will be good works because they are made with a pure heart, for the glory of God.

 Prayer: God searches my heart at that moment and bring to light the darkness that exist in my heart, and that light dispels all evil ways that exist in it. Give me a pure heart, and turns me so I can be light. In Jesus' name, amen.
