Anyone who goes
through a time of suffering should seek God with sincerity, like Job did. He
went to the Lord and asked Him why so much tragedy; and there is nothing wrong
with that as long as you do not think that God is bound to give you an answer.
Even Jesus
nailed to the cross, said, "My God, My God why have you forsaken
me!?" (Matthew 27:46).
We do not always
know why things. I do not believe it is wrong to say, "God, I do not agree
with the plan that the Lord has for my life." In Gethsemane, Jesus prayed,
"My Father, if it is possible, let this cup from me: nevertheless not as I
will, but as thou wilt" (Matthew 26:39).
You can even
question the plans of the Lord and show him who is afraid or unhappy, but in
the end, you should say: "Yet not as I will, but as thou wilt."
Job asked
several questions to God about your time of crisis and then started trying to
explain things. After hearing all that the man had to say, God asked him:
"Where were you when I laid the earth's foundations Answer me, if you know
so much?" (Job 38: 4). God was asking, "Then Job ... Since you think
you're so smart, tell me: what's going on I do not remember you by my side when
I was creating the world."
God never
explained why things Job. Instead, He only revealed even more of Himself to
him. Thus, more than a good explanation, you need really is a meeting with God
- a revelation from Him. Because when we know Him for who He is, we see our
problems as they are. Remember this: if God is great in your life, your
problems will be small!
