CAN RELY ON GOD

When problems come our way, we can become stressed and unhappy, or we can trust God. The Scripture says in Colossians 3: 2 "Set your minds on things above" (the things above). When there are giants in the land, when doubts are around your mind, turn your thoughts to God. Your best thoughts are thoughts of God. He's up this mess!

Scripture declares about God, he is "the Most High over all the earth" (Psalm 83:18). Later the Psalmist asks "Who among the sons of the mighty is like the Lord?" It's a good question! The pain does not afflict God. The economy does not affect it. The time does not disturb. The disease does not affect and death can not swallow it.

The apostle Paul says that God is "able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or think" (Ephesians 3:20). Reflect on God's holiness. Let the splendor of Him surprise you, inspire you, and scare away your problems!
