Jesus
said, "Do not disturb your heart. They believe in God; trust also in me
"John 14: 1
Most people
nowadays are with the anxious heart, distressed, worried, sad, afflicted. But
Jesus did not want us to be like that! Some things are taking our sleep, but
Jesus already paid the price for us, so that we can sleep at night.
This does not
mean that we have no problems to face. Jesus himself said that we would have
tribulation in the world, but if he won the world because discouraged? We are
not free of problems, but we can not let them dominate us. Take the example of
Peter:
He sank by walk
on water? No. He began to sink just because deviated from its focus that was
Christ, to be distracted by the winds and the storm. He let the fear dominate.
And when fear sets in, faith is silent ...
The problems
come, the storm will try to bring us down, but we need to be aware that Jesus
is there in front waiting for us. He told Peter: "Man of little faith,
wherefore didst thou doubt" Matthew 14:31
I believe this
was not a criticism. Jesus meant for Peter that he could have gone much
further. And that's what He wants to tell you today as well. For you do not get
distracted looking at the problems, and thus drown.
Jesus wants you
to continue! And if you happen to be distracted, if fear take the place of
their faith, He will take you by the hand to not let you sink. Seek to know the
Lord more for your trust in Him grow, because with it, fear will never have
dominion over you!
God bless you.
