who believes in the Son has eternal life;. Which, however, remains rebellious
against the Son shall not see life, but remains on him the wrath of God"
John 3:36
Many people believe in the goodness of God, but not in severity. They
believe in eternal life, but not in eternal punishment. God hates sin always,
always hates iniquity, and His wrath always remains on the rebels.
The wrath of
God will not and comes by divine whim, but is the consequence of our
disobedience. Any concept of love that excludes the punishment and justice has
a perverted doctrine of God.
Prayer: Dear Father, thank you for your justice, and thank you for the
Lord has the best reserved for those who obey him and love him. Never let me
come be rebellious to Jesus, not ever want to taste of His wrath, let alone
prove the eternal punishment. I want to have eternal life in heaven with the
Lord, with Jesus and my brothers. In Jesus' name, amen.
