"All
the paths of the Lord are mercy and (steadfast love, loyalty and) true for
those who keep his covenant and his testimonies" (Psalm 25.10)
The Israelites
were in the wilderness because they did not understand that their sins were the
cause of their own problems. They accused Moses, God and all the more for their
sufferings. They refused to take responsibility for their sins, and his unwillingness
to repent prevented them from entering the land of promise.
When you talk to
God, make sure that asked for forgiveness: "If we [freely] admit that we
have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just (true to his own
nature and promises) and will forgive our sins [no longer side the illegality
committed] and [continuously] cleanse us from all unrighteousness [everything
that is not in accordance with his will in purpose, thought, and action] "(1
John 1.9). Repent in the morning to enjoy the mercy, forgiveness and
love of God throughout the day.
