"Behold, I stand at the door, and
knock; If any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will enter into his
house, and with him shall I sup with, and he with me. " (Revelation 3:20)
It is said that a renowned painter was working
on a painting depicting the Lord Jesus standing before a door.
Several months passed until, finally, that
artist completed his work.
It was then marked an event in a large hall for
the exhibition of the picture, the hall was full of authorities, journalist,
photographers and art critics.
In the middle of the hall was the artist with
his work covered with a white sheet that did not take long to be removed
exposing, thus, the beauty of that painting.
Everyone was amazed and applauded, until a
critic comes up and says, I see a problem with your picture the door does not
have a lock!
The artist then tells the critic, there would
be a mistake if the door to which Jesus is facing was a common door, the door
here painted on that picture represents the human heart and it can only be
opened from within.
In verse 20 of Revelation 3 the word of God
speaks that I am the door and I knock, the door that Jesus speaks here is his
heart, He will not invade and yes, politely expect you to invite him in.
In addition to knocking at the door of your
heart He speaks to you through the word and if you hear and open the door of
your heart there is a promise to you is Himself that says:
I WILL ENTER IN HIS HOUSE, I WILL CEARE WITH
HIM AND HE WITH ME.
Want the presence of the Lord Jesus in your
life, in your home, in your family and for the eternal door of your heart to be
open to HIM.
May peace the grace and mercy of Christ Jesus
be with you and with all your family!
